DBmaestro is looking for proven sales hunters for its North America team. We are seeking consistent overachievers who have had success against challenging objectives and have experienced the excitement of building fledgling new territories into thriving businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth and consistent achievement of new account development and sales bookings for an assigned territory.
  • Follow-up on marketing generated leads as well as actively prospect for new opportunities working as a team with inside business development reps.
  • Lead and drive the full sales life cycle for your assigned territory and named accounts encompassing targeting, prospecting, lead follow-up, identification of key buying influences, presentations to key decision-makers, proposals, contract negotiations, successful close and client follow-up as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an active/current list of prospects and develop territory and strategic account sales plans; update customer and company contact information, sales tasks; maintain presentations, proposals and general sales records regarding ongoing sales activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Gather market intelligence and contribute to pricing, packaging, and new opportunities for product development in order to meet changing client needs.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reviews to management on your assigned territory and named accounts on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of consistently achieving or overachieving quotas against challenging growth objectives.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the sale of applications development software tools and database management software and tools is preferred.
  • Provides unique perspectives to customers by researching and understanding client needs upfront and structuring questions and discussions that highlight the business value of the company’s solutions.
  • Exemplary written, verbal and listening skills, the ability to prospect for new customers, identify, qualify and understand customer pain points, guide the customer’s technology direction based on the company’s unique capabilities and experience.
  • Exceptional at developing and leading account sales strategies and driving follow-up including coordinating with multiple customer functions and company team members as required to secure the business and achieve customer needs.
  • Follows a structured sales process to identify customer buying influences and priorities and tailors solutions to achieve customer’s needs.
  • Works to understand the economic and industry climate of their customers and relates them to the company’s solutions in achieving required ROI.
  • Comfortable developing, reviewing and negotiating business terms with customers and formulating strategies that accentuate the company’s value proposition.
  • Excellent organization, analytical and time management skills
  • Understands how to leverage and use marketing and sales enablement content throughout each sales stage to enhance success.
  • Proficiency in synthesizing feedback from prospects and clients and communicating back to the company for continuous product improvement.
