Manual Activation
When running dbMaestro for the first time, the online activation wizard is automatically started. If for some reason activation has failed, it is possible to activate dbMaestro manually. In order to do so, follow the instructions below:
  • If you do not have an active connection to the internet during console installation the "online activation wizard" will not be launched. Instead, launch dbMaestro and from the Help menu select "update license information".

  • Click the "Manual activation" button. An explorer window will open and show you the location of your installation-id file. Remember the location of this file since it is required for manual activation (you can move the file to any other location if you so choose).

  • Browse to the dbMaestro activation form Click the "Browse" button on the "Installation ID" field and select your installation-id file.

  • Fill out the remaining fields and take care to specify an active Email address since your activation key is emailed to that address.

  • Once your activation key is received in your Inbox, save the file to a folder of your choice.

  • Launch dbMaestro and from the Help menu select "update license information" (if you did not shut down the console after running it for the first time, this screen will already be active)

  • Click "Load activation key from file" and select the activation key file you have saved.

How to activate dbMaestro?
After installing dbMaestro, an Installation ID File is automatically generated on your PC. In the form below, click the "browse" button and select your Installation ID File.

You can locate your Installation ID File by clicking the "Locate Installation ID File" link which appears in the product's built-in registration form.
