dbMaestro will receive 250,000 NIS from the Chief Scientist, and active support, services and guidance in equal value from IBM.
IBM and dbMaestro, a startup company, will collaborate in technologies and marketing aspects within the "Tnufa" program which is sponsored by the Chief Scientist. dbMaestro expands IBM Optim Development Studio/IBM Data Studio and Clear Case abilities by adding database Change Management capabilities, including schema and data changes as well as supervising over the database software development life cycle. dbMaestro will receive 250,000 NIS from the Chief Scientist. IBM will provide dbMaestro with active support, services and guidance in equal value.
The combined solution, IBM Optim Development Studio/IBM Data Studio and Clear Case with dbMaestro, will be offered to development teams with database intense systems. Development teams will experience an improved collaborative development environment; have the ability to enforce disciplined development policies; and more efficiently deploy applications.
Eitan Gal, head of the Global Technology Unit (GTU) Technology Group at IBM Israel said: "In the group we always look at startups to identify technologies that might interest IBM and technologies which will expand our existing and future solutions. The dbMaestro technology answers IBM’s needs and we are happy to help young companies fulfill their potential and reach international and local markets".
