In the latest DBmaestro Academy webinar, Brady Byrd and Yaniv Yehuda expounded upon how to use git and Jenkins together in order to drive smooth and repetitive database releases with zero disruptions.

Brady began with a quick background on git and Jenkins, forks and branches, before diving deep into the demo. Along with color commentary from Yaniv, Brady showed how branches, commits and pulls are able to drive database deployments using the DBmaestro DevOps Platform.

Questions were answered during the demo, and a lively Q&A session followed at the end of the demonstration, so much so that Brady and Yaniv stayed and answered questions well after the webinar was scheduled to end.

If you missed the webinar or were unable to attend,  don't worry, you can drop us a line and request a personal demo!

For years, DevOps has focused on speed. Faster builds. Faster testing. Faster deployments. And to a large extent, it worked. Application delivery became highly automated. CI/CD pipelines matured. Teams moved from weeks to days, and in some cases, to hours. But something fundamental was left behind. The database. The Missing Layer in DevOps Evolution Despite […]

There is a moment in every technology shift where things stop being theoretical and start becoming real. For AI in software development, that moment is happening now. For the past couple of years, we have all experimented with AI assistants. They helped us write code faster, suggested fixes, generated snippets, maybe even wrote entire functions. […]

In space, everything is moving. Planets travel at extraordinary speeds. Moons rotate. Entire solar systems drift through galaxies. Nothing stands still. And yet, despite this constant motion, systems remain stable. Earth does not fly off into darkness. The moon does not spiral unpredictably. Planets do not collide randomly. The reason is not the absence of […]
