Lead Developer, Backend Engineering

DBmaestro is a pioneer and leading provider of automation and DevOps solutions for databases. Our flagship product, DBmaestro DevOps Platform, empowers Agile Development and enables Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) for the database.

We are seeking a passionate leader and team player with the following qualifications:

Experience & Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience with C# or Java.
  • Proven design capabilities and ability to architect scalable solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of database systems, particularly MS-SQL and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, immutability, and more.
  • Proficient in performance analysis and optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of tools, libraries, and frameworks relevant to your work.
  • Awareness of bad practices and anti-patterns in software development.

  • Team Development: Help recruit top development talent for our team. Mentor and advise team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the broader scope of group tasks, making informed prioritization decisions. Contribute to designing robust and scalable backend systems.
